Radiotherapy is a part of treatment of nearly 2/3rds of cancer patients globally. However radiotherapy practices vary from center to center making standardization difficulty. The vision of the SURAQSA program is to facilitate safe radiotherapy delivery nationally and globally. SURAQSA is a collaborative project involving major cancer centers who have united to achieve this vision.

Best practices and standard operating procedures from centers participating in SURAQSA are available for SURAQSA members. This website allows you to register your interest to participate in SURAQSA and join the effort. To do so please click on the Account Request link above. Participating centers have all agreed to share their SOPs and participate in collaborative external peer review process to audit adherence to these SOPs.

In the future, SURAQSA members will be able to access SOPs for end to end quality assurance of their treatment practices. By creating an database of SOPs tailored for different equipments and resources, SURAQSA will reduce the documentation requirements for quality assurance. Benchmark plans for these SOPs will help credential radiotherapy processes at other centers, complementing systems like NABH and JCI. An automated plan evaluation software will be developed which will integrate with India's first oncology image bank - CHAVI. Additional CHAVI ecosystem softwares will be integrated with SURAQSA.
